Caroline A. Albright is a registered patent attorney currently focusing her practice on domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution and opinion work. Carrie also negotiates and prepares intellectual property agreements, including joint development agreements, confidentiality agreements, and other types of commercial agreements involving IP.
Carrie has worked with clients in the chemical, electrochemical, information technology, automotive, and food science industries. Although she typically serves Fortune 500 and other large global companies, she has also counseled smaller enterprises and public institutions. Working with clients in any setting, Carrie strives to keep the broader picture in mind to ensure the value of their intellectual property assets from both a technical and business standpoint.
Before joining Fitch Even, Carrie was a patent attorney with an IP law boutique based in Troy, Michigan. While attending the University of Notre Dame Law School, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable James G. Carr of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. Carrie also interned at the Notre Dame Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Clinic, where she prepared patent and trademark applications and opinion letters.
