David works primarily in the areas of patent preparation and prosecution, due diligence investigations and intellectual property litigation.
David earned his Juris Doctor from the Chicago-Kent College of Law. While in law school, he was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Intellectual Property and represented Chicago-Kent in the American Intellectual Property Law Association's Giles Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition. David won a CALI Award for the highest grade in his Practice Before the Federal Circuit class.
David has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northwestern University. After graduating from Northwestern, he worked as a project manager and controls engineer for Dynamic Motion Control, an engineering consulting company. He completed numerous automation projects in a variety of industries, providing software for automated devices including robots, motion control systems, machine vision systems, programmable logic controllers, and PC-based control systems.
David is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. |
