Shane practices in all areas of Intellectual Property, such as intellectual property litigation, opinion counseling, participation and compliance with standard setting organizations, and patent prosecution. He has worked with clients in various technical fields including agricultural equipment, radio frequency electronics and encryption, hand & power tools, and motorcycle accessories to name a few. Shane also has particular experience working with up-start companies to develop and protect their intellectual property portfolio.
Shane joined Fitch Even after earning his law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School. Shane has prior legal experience working as a judicial intern in the Wisconsin Court of Appeals and as a summer associate at a New York law firm. He was also an active member of the American Intellectual Property Association Moot Court Team and participated in the Wisconsin International Law Journal.
He received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and was awarded the Iron Cross in recognition of leadership, service and academic achievement. He was also recognized with the College of Engineering's Outstanding Senior Award.
