Amanda joined Fitch Even in September 2005 after graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School. During school, she was twice awarded the Bruce Belifuss Memorial Scholarship for outstanding service to the school, and received the award for the highest grade in her Patent Law course.
While at the University, she served as an Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Women's Law Journal, one of the first journals in the country devoted to women and law. In 2004 she worked as an intern for Dane County Circuit Judge Moria Krueger.
With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Louis University, she focuses her practice on patent prosecution and litigation in the area of mechanical technology. Amanda has worked with domestic and foreign clients in a variety of technical fields including electronic components, food processing, packaging technology, medical devices, and energy technologies such as carbon sequestration, photobioreactors, and distillation columns. She also has experience with business methods relating to a variety of technologies such as insurance software and computer systems, internet advertising and promotional methods, and carbon emissions credit systems. |
