Fitch Even partner Joseph T. Nabor will be moderating a panel discussion, “Working Trademarks into the M&A Process: Tips for Spotting Issues and Working Collaboratively in a High-Pressure, Short-Deadline World,” at the International Trademark Association (INTA) Annual Meeting on May 13, 2014, in Hong Kong.
The panel will discuss how trademark counsel must work with corporate merger and acquisition teams and outside counsel to ensure all trademark, trade name, licensing, and clearance issues are properly addressed both prior to the deal and afterward. Joe will also discuss specific legal requirements and processes from the outside counsel perspective.
Joe was quoted in an article titled "Five Best Practices for Trademark Teams During M&A" in the May 12 edition of INTA Daily News, published by Managing Intellectual Property. The article provided a preview of the panel discussion.
